Description:

• Provide customers advice on alternative design techniques and the implementation of alternative solutions. 
• Work in a team environment in identifying customer problems and proposing appropriate solutions 
• Provide information and data on a variety of Xilinx products Provide solutions for specific customer needs. 
• Provide direct technical support to customers on critical design issues.
• Provide senior level engineering leadership o Develop the expertise team by providing trainings; help ramp up new engineers oHelp to ensure team objectives are met oSupport escalations in expertise area
• Provide project support for key customer accounts o Customer visits at project commencement and throughout project lifecycle oInitiate and manage project review meetings o Assist customers in solving or managing design issues impacting the project – main point of contact

Job Requirements:

• Applicant must be a self-starter and have excellent interpersonal skills. 
• Must demonstrate superior problem solving and debugging skills, organization skills      and must have the ability to multitask 
• Detailed knowledge of digital design practices and principles 
• Xilinx product experience preferred but not desired
• BSEE/MSE or equivalent required 
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Desire to work in team environment 
• Desire to continue to learn new technologies and be continually challenged 
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly    communicate technical information in an organized and understandable fashion
